This site, the Bible Pages, is a non-denominational and non-sectarian bible study
site that is not connected to any church, denomination, sect or religious organisation.
Its goal is to turn people to the true God who is in Heaven, to his son Jesus, and
to the Bible. For that reason, this site wants to help people to gain better and
deeper scriptural understanding, by encouraging and challenging them to get started
with deep and real, personal bible study on their own, and to continue with that,
so that they can find out what the Bible actually says, in contrast to what churches
and preachers want people to believe.
Putting that in other words: This site looks at things from a biblical perspective, and not from a dogmatic one. It does not claim to "know it all" or to be without error or to have a perfect or complete explanation to all things – it consists of an ongoing bible study that has been made public, and as the study goes on, the contents of these pages are revised, and at times also expanded, with new topics and themes being addressed. Readers are invited and welcome to write to the author with thoughts and comments, or to ask questions, or to point out a mistake if they feel that they have found one.
