The goal of this site, the Bible Pages, is to turn people to the Bible, and through that to the true God who is in Heaven, and his son Jesus. This site is non-denominational and non-sectarian, and is not connected to any church, denomination, sect or religious organisation.
This site contains essays on many different bible-related subjects. It is hoped that they will challenge and encourage people to get started with deep bible study on their own, so that they can personally find out what the Scriptures really say, instead of merely believing what churches and preachers teach.
This site looks at things from a biblical perspective, and not from a dogmatic one. It consists of an ongoing bible study that has been made public, and does not claim to have a perfect or complete explanation or interpretation of all things. As the study goes on, the contents of this site are revised and sometimes expanded. Readers are invited and welcome to write to the author with comments and questions, or to point out mistakes. Mail address: See the page gp03.htm.
For a table of contents for the Bible Pages, see the page flist.htm. What’s new here? See the last part of that page.
